Word War Begins NOW!

This is your CHECK IN POST!



1- The war begins now, and will continue until Monday, February 12, 7:00AM GMT for 72 hours of writing.

2- To participate, please check-in with a comment below. You may also post your beginning word counts in order to help you keep track of your progress. All members of hd_writers are welcome to participate! Invite your friends to join in!

3- Use this time to work on your writing - any project, any pairing, any fandom!

4- The hd_writers chatroom is there as always to serve as inspiration and encouragement, as well as the SrsBzns chatroom. Please try to stay on the topic of writing as much as possible this weekend! The SrsBzns room should be focused strictly on timed word wars without the additional chat. For inspiration, writing talk, encouragement, etc please visit the main room.

5- You don't have to participate the entire weekend, just jump in whenever you can and do any amount of writing in order to qualify.

6- Remember to check back in with your final, ending word count within approximately 24 hours after the war ends!

7- Prizes will be awarded at the end of the war for those with the most words!

I'm working on my auction fic (8,645 words), it's almost done just needs some tweaking and my eagle_exchange (4,459 words) is back from beta and needs the edits -these two are not going to have many new words!

Words should hopefully be added to hds_beltane (402 words) and to paperlegends (0 words), a fic I am writing for subtlefire (343 words) and my new WiP (5,089 words).

I need to unblock desperately, and carve out some time for writing. Still tempted to call in sick today to work, but I just don't have that kind of time available. *sighs*

Current starting wordcount is 14,392 (7599 for Bullies, 5769 for the BB, and 1024 for a fest fic).
