Here’s your official team post. Make of it what you will. This is your team’s Common Room for the month; the only thing we’ll be looking at is the check-in comments, so make sure you’re posting yours as a reply to this.

The only real team assignment you'll be getting is to pick a team name and/or mascot. Like the one you have? Awesome. Want something else? Also awesome. Just let us know what you've all come up with by April 1 so we can get it right on the kick-off post.

There’s been a slight revision on the points for revising, go figure, so please claim them as per the crib sheet below.

Okay, I'm going away for the weekend, and I'm not sure if I'll have the chance to check in. Probably won't get any more writing in anyway, so here's the summary for the week so far.

~ Modding - 3 hours => 3 points
~ Editing - 8 hours => 16 points
~ Research - 2 hours => 2 points
~ New words - about 2K => 16 points

I am totally OK with 'Team Billywig' / What even happened / WTF did I just do.

I don't even know where the hyperactivity is coming from. A Billywig's sting causes giddiness and levitation (http://www.hp-lexicon.org/bestiary/bestiary_b.html#billywig). That is my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

1. An Inception A/E long fic where Eames is an ad guy bored of his job and Arthur is a tour guide on the most remote island in the world - I don't even know where this came from.

This isn't even fandom specific. Anything goes. Writing words of any variety, getting stuff done, all of it. 1 point per hour of time (if it can't be quantified by something like a word count) plus one point for everything you complete. :oD

So. The inevitable crash happened, and I got NOTHING done Thursday - Saturday. (Don't worry - there are points for the rest of the week, including a tasty finishing bonus!)

I saw someone on one of the other teams had a team icon and I got jealous, so by way of easing myself back into doing something other than sleep and read fic, and not in any way procrastinating, I made us an icon. Hopefully nothing that will upset the entomophobics among us!
