I got absolutely nothing done yesterday. I went to a party Sat night and was horribly hungover all day yesterday lol.
Back and writing today.
Up to chapter 9 of my "write a novel in 1.5 weeks" challenge lol.

Yup, like the others I'm not using the form today. Crappy day for writing. I wrote about 450 words today. But at least it's for the one-shot that I keep on telling myself I need to finish...Woot! I cannot post a snippet today. Today's writing was all smut. Hehe.

1. What are your writing goals for the week? (projects to finish, word counts, etc?)
My goal was to finish the roughly 25 to 30K in this part of the story that I needed to write. And finish writing all the scenes for that part of the story.

2. What is your goal for the day?
500 to 5.000

3. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects?

5. Have you made any progress or had any pitfalls?
I've written another 4K since my last check in my final check is at 19.380 words, plus a completely plotted out and solved plotline for this part of the story. 5.5 out of 9 scene-blocks are finished.

6. Do you have any snippets to share? Not that anybody's here to read this, but here you go (again, rough draft, entirely unbetad):

Johanna hands him the half-smoked cigarette and Albus accepts it gratefully. He looks after her until she steps inside, before he turns back towards the sea, one hand holding the mug, the other the fag. He slowly brings it to his lips and inhales deeply, feeling the familiar sense of calm that comes with smoking wash over him. The reprieve is short lived.

“I thought you’d stopped smoking.” It’s Scorpius and Albus doesn’t even have to turn around to know that his lips are turned into an unattractive disgusted sneer.

“And then I started again, obviously.” Albus is still not looking at Scorpius; he is not in the mood to deal with Scorpius’ issues right now. Not after that brilliant dream he had, if Scorpius would just shut up, Albus could pretend that it had been him. But of course that is entirely impossible.

“You know I don’t like it when you smoke.” Was that disappointment in Scorpius’ voice? Albus concludes that he must have heard wrong. Scorpius so obviously has stopped caring for him in any way whatsoever, why should he care about whether he smoked or not, it wasn’t even like he was around to take offence at the smell of smoke on his clothes, being locked away in his cabin all day. Albus draws out his pocket watch and clicks it once to check the time.

“Tough luck!” Albus takes one more drag on his cigarette, before extinguishing it on the railing, smiling grimly at the dark stain that now mars the pale wood. “I’m going to have some breakfast,” he says, snapping his watch shut and walking towards the door leading below deck without sparing Scorpius more than a passing glance.

I have reached my goals, and done a lot more, I finished two fest fics, and started my third, and written 17,194 words :D At least I'm mostly done with things that are due in February.

I did 8896 on Number Seven, although the last 200 are about to be massacred beyond recognition into new shiny words that actually make sense.

And I did 3702 on my Get Lucky fic, so 12,598 in total :D which is waay more than I thought i'd done considering my week of writing was butchered by furniture, last minute work and elderly relatives with jigsaws.

Didn't have a set word count goal for the week (or even daily), but in the 7 days of this round of GSD, I wrote 17,491 words (failed to check in during the later half of the week, but I was still writing like mad).

Had 3 projects I was hoping to make headway on, and finish if possible. By last night, I'd both started and finished my pinch-hit fic of over 7k, and I'd pushed significantly further in a bigbang fic. I didn't get the challengefest fic completed, but I'm working on that right now, actually.

Didn't get everything I'd wanted to complete done, but I made some decent progress. Was a bit derailed by my manager completely changing around the schedule I'd had for the last year or so and making this last week's completely different (especially the days off. That was SO disorienting), modding duties for two fests, and some RL stuff of the husband's. Just life, you know?

Yeah so.... birthdays and such this weekend, my weekend was a bust for writing. LOL however i DID get to an exciting scene that is flowing like crazy, angry!Draco = fun fun! lol

I think I got like... well let's see.. Oh no okay I got about 5,000 done, but I didn't finish the chapter.... :( Sorry guys, next time!

BUT I DO LIKE THIS IDEA OF KEEPING GOING. Is that a sentence? Keeping going? lol. /fail
