Yesterday I oopsed and spewed out over 3200 words of a brand new one shot fic that I didn't know I needed to write until I was in the car that morning. On the other hand, it's done, betaed, posted to AO3, and I've been posting it to comms slowly. So whee?

Nothing new yet. Anything else from that fic wouldn't work without the rest of it, and I already posted the opening yesterday.

Date: 2012-01-25 07:51 pm (UTC)2. What is your goal for the day? My writing goal this time was around 500 to 5000 words, since work has been draining, I didn't manage that, but I did alright. Logging in with 7.263 words in total, that's 3.2K written since my last check in. I thin I'm doing alright.

5. Have you made any progress or had any pitfalls? Plotting finished since last night, had an idea for something else before going to sleep, which will work and wrote over 3K, I'd call that progress! :)

Something is wrong with Scorpius, he can tell, they have to talk about it and like so many times before, Albus vows that things will change, he won’t take no for an answer. For now he will make excuses and reschedule the meeting. Albus tenderly covers up Scorpius’ still form and makes sure he won’t be cold, before negligently flicking his wand at the blinds, casting the room into immediate darkness. Albus knows he will be back to check on Scorpius later, but for now it is back to the lab for him, the last tests should have run their course and with a bit of luck, he will have the breakthrough he’s been hoping for.

2. What is your goal for the day?
Argh. Um. Get the boys out to lunch. It's earlier in the plot than yesterday's goal, but that's because the scene I wrote yesterday ended up somewhere around 7000 words, instead of the less than 1000 words I'd had planned. ESTIMATION FAIL. Also, 2nd goal of jotting some of the challengefic narration that's in my head down and getting it into the doc.

Multiple.

All of the above.
5. Have you made any progress or had any pitfalls?
Didn't get to the scene I wanted yesterday, which sounds like a pitfall, but that's because the scene ended up about 7 times longer than I'd expected. I actually wrote 5,269 words yesterday--more than double the number of words I was able to write the day before. It's actually some pretty decent progress. But I've hit that point where the longest fic of the bunch is now the one due the latest, so it might be time to finish the scene, put the fic on hold, and hammer out the other two fics ASAP.

Well as it is 4:30 and I was writing today on my lunch break, my goal for the rest of the day is to get the second scene done, and start the third.

My goal yesterday was to finish this section. I am at this very moment working on it and hoping to finish it (or at least most of it) before I go to bed *crosses fingers*

This is a tiny little snippet that is not going to make any sense at all because it is from the middle of the story. However, I particularly enjoyed writing these few lines and hope that they make it into the final cut after my beta edits the whole thing. The fandom for this story is Inception so if you are not a big fan of that fandom...well, too bad:P
The lean body I currently have plastered to the door shudders. Arthur lets out a shaky breath and clears his throat twice before he is able to speak. “I uh, I think we’ve used up the allotted ten minutes.”
Chuckling against the column of his throat I reply, “Would you like to leave now?”
“No,” he whispers, “but we’re going to.”
