How long counts for the week? *grins*

1. What are your writing goals for the week? (projects to finish, word counts, etc?)
Minimum of 750 words a day, or a little over 5k words for the week. I need to finish my nextgenfest piece, write at least one chapter on Bullies, and a couple of chapters on the big bang I'm doing. This is probably more than 5k worth of stuff. Oh, and if this includes the weekend, I hope I will also have to do my next LDWS piece, if I make it through to next round!

2. What is your goal for the day?
750 words at least.

3. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects?
Er, see above. Definitely multiple.

4. Are you participating in any fests, exchanges or challenges?
bigbangmixup, ldws (hopefully), and nextgenfest

5. Have you made any progress or had any pitfalls?
Haven't been able to balance writing, life, work, gaming, sleep lately... last night sleep fell off. Oops.

6. Do you have any snippets to share?

1. Currently need to finish:
eagle_exchange - just restarted this as what I had was wordy but not working.
helpthesouth Merlin fic for fire_juggler - restarted this too after finishing it! See a pattern?
hds_beltane - just 500 words into this so far.
H/D fic for subtlefire, no deadline but would like it completed by mid-Feb.
New Merlin WiP needs starting.

2. Daily goal is only 500 words on weekdays but 5k on weekends. Am away overnight on Friday to Saturday evening.
3. I'll be working on all of the above and if none of those inspire me, my go to yet-to-see-the-light-of-day WiP will get some new words.
4. Just eagle_exchange, hds_beltane and slythindor100 LDWS which I may well get kicked out of this week so we'll see. hp_kinkfest and hd_remix but fics are finished so yay!! I'm not allowed to sign up for anymore unless I only have one other on the go.
5. Pitfalls are my love of procrastination and being tired because of work all the time.

I want to finish my hd_remix fic by the end of this week. It's all written, it just needs editing and typing it all up.
2. What is your goal for the day?
Type and edit at least 500 words a day.

I'm only going to be focusing on my remix fic, but if I finish it, I have many one shots half written. I could definitely do with finishing one or two of them!

hd_remix I am stupidly excited for it!

I started three different remixes for three different fics, but I finally settled on one!

I need to get shit done!

1. What are your writing goals for the week? (projects to finish, word counts, etc?) Oh God, I must make seriousserious progress on these hp_kinkfest, which I'm really of struggling with and hd_remix, which I'm am so, so behind on.

2. What is your goal for the day? Hopefully a minimum of 500 words per day, but I don't seem able to get into a routine with writing every day.

3. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects? Multiple!

4. Are you participating in any fests, exchanges or challenges? ZOMG, in addition to the two above, I've signed up for the dracotops_harry fest, round 6 of daisychain_drab, the current H/D LDWS at slythindor100 (at least until the results on Friday) and I might contribute something to hd_owlpost if possible.

5. Have you made any progress or had any pitfalls? Work being busy right now is my biggest problem. But I had a bit of a breakthrough with one fic this weekend (still only managed 120 or so words though, but it was a start).

6. Do you have any snippets to share? Um.. okay, but it's not been edited or beta'd or anything and is subject to change if I realise it's crap.

“It's okay.” Scorpius felt a finger on his cheek and another under his chin. Teddy's hand was warm and still smelled of Scorpius' come. “Look at me.”

Get most of my hp_nextgen_fest fic done writing and all of it done plotting and all the scenes done sketching out, so I can simply write them whenever I have a free minute, because I already know what they are supposed to be like.
2. What is your goal for the day? I have no idea, mostly because I need to work every day, alway between 4 to 9 hours and depending on the day I've had I might do 500 words or 5K
3. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects? Probably only the one thing, but I might just give one of my H/D wips a spin or that Scabior/Hermione/Lucius fic I've plotted out.

5. Have you made any progress or had any pitfalls? After letting it lie for a bit to recharge my batteries, the whole thing has taken on a life of its on and the plot pretty much writes itself, if I leave it enough room :)

I've made heaps of progress this year so far. I'm up to date, haven't needed any extensions. I was in Melbourne last week for the tennis, so I couldn't write as much as I wanted, but I am still up to take with my getyourwordsout pledge.

From my original fic:

Teal looked around the club. It was close to three in the morning and Villenova was packed. Hiding in the shadows on the far side of the room, Teal watched with barely suppressed revulsion as sweaty bodies writhed together on the dance floor, washing down drugs with alcohol and anything else that happened to be cheap and making its rounds. Teal spotted pills, powder and liquids in various colours, sometimes being dealt but mostly just passed from hand to hand. Sharing was evidently caring at Villenova.

As far as nightclubs went, it wasn’t the seediest room she had ever been in. Villenova catered for a younger clientele and Teal could almost feel the unleashed excitement that hovered in the air. There was nothing quite like a room of recently deceased twenty-something’s hyped up on the type of narcotics that could be bought and sold freely without anyone else saying otherwise. Teal imagined that could be somewhat liberating after a lifetime of rules and obligations, but these souls weren’t here to party, they were here to forget.

Finish my hp-getlucky fic and make way more progress on my gleebang fic. Possibly start my spn-j2-bigbang fic, or at least plot it out more.

1. What are your writing goals for the week? (projects to finish, word counts, etc?) Finish my Big Bang for another fandom (so close, yet so far, argh), finish my challengefest fic, write pinch-hit. Work on other fest fic, if possible, but those are the things that have to be done.
2. What is your goal for the day? For Monday, I'd just like to get these characters out for drinks. It's the scene after the current one.
3. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects? So. Many. (as always, right?)

5. Have you made any progress or had any pitfalls? some progress, but it's been interrupted by RL work going haywire, and having modly duties w/ 2 exchange fests (2 fandoms), and just today, spending almost 4 hrs trying to calm a friend down from a RL crisis.

1. What are your writing goals for the week? (projects to finish, word counts, etc?) I took my skip on slythindor100 this week so I don't have that to work on, but I want to work on the H/D fic that nenne is helping me with. I wrote a couple pages of something Albus/Scorpius in longhand so I want to type that up and see what happens there, and I found a thing on my computer that I wrote a long time ago, that was sort of supposed to be Harry/Ron but could be changed to Harry/Draco. I want to see about that. And I joined ass_ldws this round too but it's not even full yet, so I doubt we'll get prompts real soon.
2. What is your goal for the day? I'll be happy to get 500 words a day and I doubt it would happen most days. But I'll try!
3. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects? Multiple. None have deadlines except the drabble contests.
4. Are you participating in any fests, exchanges or challenges? Nothing except the drabble contests. I'm resisting signing up for prompts at any of the fests so far at least.
5. Have you made any progress or had any pitfalls? Progress? Not really. I've been really busy at work and my dad is putting down new floors in basically our whole house, so home isn't ideal for creativity either right now.
6. Do you have any snippets to share? This is from the thing that is Harry/Ron right now:

Spells were flying in all directions, and as Harry ran toward Ron and Hermione, who stood nearly back-to-back, facing down two Death Eaters, his foot landed wrong. He felt something twist and tear in his ankle. The sickening pain brought him to his knees, but Ron and Hermione needed his help. He couldn't let them get hurt.

Harry saw a spell pass Ron by much too close for Harry's comfort. Ron Immobilized the Death Eater who had sent that curse, and Harry got to his feet again, groaning as his weakened ankle twisted again and something else tore. He started toward his friends as fast as he could, which in his present condition wasn't very fast.

Harry saw the spell hit Hermione just as she started to raise her wand to Stupefy her attacker. She dropped without a sound. Ron blasted the Death Eater with a full body-bind jinx, then Harry was running toward them, suddenly mindless of the pain in his ankle. He and Ron knelt beside Hermione's too-still body. She moaned when Ron slid his arms under her, preparing to lift her. Her eyelids fluttered but she didn't wake. Harry hadn't recognized the spell that hit her and he was afraid to try moving her in case moving her would make whatever damage had been done worse. He remained kneeling by her side for a few moments, but leaned over when her eyes opened.

And the Al/Scorp thingy:

Scorpius likes Al's house. It's much smaller than his, and not everything matches. There aren't any ancestral portraits always admonishing him to act in a manner befitting a Malfoy, but there are always lots of people there. It's loud and crowded, and Al's crazy uncle George is always making something explode. Al rolls his eyes at all of it sometimes, but's smiling when he does and Scorpius knows he really loves it.

Scorpius wasn't sure he'd be welcome here, but when he'd told Al he didn't really want to go to Sardinia with his parents over Christmas hols, Al had immediately owled his mum and dad and asked if Scorpius could stay. They'd said yes by return owl, but Scorpius' dad had insisted on Flooing Al's dad to make sure it was okay. Scorpius supposed it was a good idea -- he wouldn't have put it past Al to forge the note from Mr. Potter.

I made progress with a pinchhit I had to finish. Wrote like a boss last Friday and did it! Now a bit of pitfalls current bunnies are fighting with bunnies needed for fest stories. ><

Just the week? Well I've never done one of these before, so my goal for the week is to write all or most of chapter 5, which is about 5,000-7,000 words usually. I'm not sure if that's... lame for you guys or not, haha... but... Like i said, I've never done one of these before so I have no idea whats normal. And I'm so... hit or miss with the amount I can pump out at one time lol. Sometimes I write three chapters in a week, other times it takes me three weeks to finish one single chapter lol.

Uh... I'd say anywhere between 500-1000 words?

Things have been going well. I struggled with Chapter 4, and finally pushed through it, I'd like to get the next two chapters which will likely both be in Draco's POV under my belt in the next couple weeks, hence, the word war. Plus, Sordid said I should do it, lol so I'm giving it a shot.

what's normal is going your own rate. Some write a lot, while others think 20% of that is too much for them. People are different but everyone are welcome :D If you get to finish 5k-7k words in one week I think you're doing great. Good luck
