One and a half hours 'til Drabble Day!



So, this seems like the perfect time to go over the rules.

Content-wise - there are no rules on Drabble Day!

Sticking with Harry and Draco? We love it! Have a great idea for Pansy/Blaise? We'll devour it. Burning for the opportunity to write that centaur/unicorn fic that's been running around in your head? Bring. It. On. Het, slash, femmeslash, moresomes, anthropomorphised ice-cream (yeah, I've been reading Yuletide prompts) - we like it all on Drabble Day. The point is to let your creativy run free, and also have some fun for Christmas!

And don't feel you need to fill the prompts in the hour that they're posted, or even in order. No rules on Drabble Day!!!

Actually, posting-wise we are adding a rule this round, for the sake of mods and members in countries with less open laws. If you are posting an NC-17 rated drabble, please post to your journal and leave a link in the comments. We love all our members, and want to make sure they can all play in a way that doesn't risk people like yours truly running foul of draconian internet laws.

Remember that chatzy is here, and full of friendly people celebrating Christmas (or possibly just me, but I'm friendly too!) There is also srs!chatzy, which may be full of people desperately trying to finish fest fics (for kitty_fic) and so will be for the srs drabblers. I'll be in chat as soon as I'm on the bus (give me an hour), and ready to write!

Name Kneazle's Tablet
Leave as many suggestions as you like as a comment to this post over the course of Drabble Day. The one that fits my tablet the best gets a prize, as will a random name drawn from a hat (or a number randomiser). Dunno what the prize is yet, but it will be cool.

If it helps in your search for a name, I'm pretty sure my tablet is a boy, though I could be wrong. It could just be a tomboy. Also a general warning, my last laptop was Harriet, so it's unlikely 'Harry' will win :D

I'm voting Sulu. Why? Because it does not get any more awesome than Sulu.

(Actually, secretly I want to vote Albus because assfhjfdhkhfd think of the implications, but I named *my* tablet Albus, so idk. Enable Albus/Albus action? DECISIONS! My actual suggestion is that you think about what you like/think of your tablet--fast/shiny/bright/smart/awesome/stubborn/irritating/etc--and name it after the character that best suits that combination of traits for you.

Or possibly his/her name should just be Tablet and you should be coming to terms with his/her personality. :P)

I was trying to name my nook, and I wanted to name it César. But let's face it, that's a crappy name for a nook. nooks have a lowercase n.

So. Transformed into my vote for Kneazle's tablet name. It's classical, yet fresh. Familiar, yet demonstrative of a greater trend towards globalism. Also, versatile, as you could spell it Caesar also.
