1. Are you a writer, beta or cheerleader?
All of the above. First and foremost a lover of this fandom and a supporter of anyone who is willing to put their talents to work and bring the love to life. It's a noble endeavor. I've been editing fiction in a formal setting for the past six years so I have extensive experience in beta work. I make it a point of being constructive in my feedback and try to work with the author's strengths. I've only been writing fanfiction for a few days, but I've been an original fiction writer for as long as I can remember. Right now, I'm working on integrating myself into communities that will expose me to more writers in the fandom, widen my own audience and therefore strengthen my abilities to construct good fanfiction. What can I say? I want to please the masses, and I can't do that unless I whore myself out a bit.
2. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects?
I'm working on one fic right now with multiple chapters, but I'm finding I can punch out oneshots from nowhere if I have the right motivation. So it's both, on and off. I'm getting back into the habit of just writing like a madman with no end in sight. I'm predicting doing a lot of multitasking in my future....
3. Are you participating in any fests, exchanges or challenges?
Not at the moment. I haven't really looked, though. So that might change. By all means, if anyone needs some new blood, feel free to hound me. I like a challenge.
4. What is your goal (wordcount) per month?
Hell, I haven't even thought of that. Might be a smart thing to consider huh? I'll just say that every month's my NaNoWriMo. 1,667 words a day at least, even if it isn't going anywhere. That's healthy, mh?
5. What are your project(s) about? (If it's a secret, we understand)
The one I'm putting most of my brain into at the moment is just a silly falling-in-love story that's actually based off my own sweetheart experiences from high school. The theme is the concept of the unexpected that I find rather romantic. Falling in love isn't fun unless you're caught off guard sometimes.
6. Is there anything else you want us to know about you?
I need love, lots of friends. The more the better. I don't exactly know what to do with myself on this site either, so some guidance would be loved. I love talking to people so please be in my business, it'll make me smile. I'm a newbie at fanfiction writing but my goal is to become an excellent writer so I can feel like I can stand on equal ground with the authors that I love and admire so much. All your help and encouragement is greatly appreciated.
