I like it exactly how it is, because it works out as my 11pm-Midnight which is kind of perfect because it means I can write all day coming towards a finish line :)

But that being said, I'm in Australia - Sydney time zone.

But I think its good how it is.

Perhaps we ought to vary the word wars with some starting at noon GMT, some at midnight GMT, some at 6pm GMT, etc, etc.

No start time will make everyone happy, since we are scattered over so many different timezones. But varying them may help folks feel included?

Just a thought. I'm the "other" vote. ;)

I like it how it is. Like WV said, in Australia (or at least in Queensland), it's 10pm when it starts and it gives me time to sort things out etc. But I also like the idea of changing it every time.

I'm gonna have to go with what uniquepov said, really. The single time zone thing runs into the same problem we sorta have with always running them on the same days. Some people get left out all the time. I'd say just change it up with each one, really.

I dont really care how they start or end but maybe they could be posted so you know what time exactly that is in your time zone cuz I'm easily confused by when the starts and stops are... :D

I like the idea of mixing them up but I'm also easily confused by timezones so I wish there was a way to make it more easily understandable for everyone

I agree with previous statements that the same timezone, same period (over the weekend) always leaves the same people out. It's not a big deal for me - after all, the goal is to write as many words as possible, and that still happens - but I understand the sentiments.
