POLL : WEEKDAY WORD WAR ?

I'm gauging interest in a weekday Word War for the month of November for NaNoWriMo. I'm planning a word war for this coming weekend (Nov 18 - 21 Fri - Mon), but could do another one next week, during the (US) Thanksgiving holiday (either Nov 22 - 25 Tue - Fri or Nov 23 - 26 Wed - Sat) -- I want to be able to accommodate those who do not work a traditional M-F 8-5 schedule, or who have other commitments on the weekends that prevent them from fully participating in the weekend Word Wars.

Thoughts?

ETA: I just wanted to clarify that the Word Wars are for ANYBODY who wants to write, whether it's for NaNoWriMo, or it's fan fic, unfinished WIPs, or anything else. Everyone is welcome at the Word Wars!

I think midweek word wars are a brilliant idea! *bounces* I have real trouble finding time to write at the weekends. I think it would be good if we could have half and half: two weekends to two midweeks etc. It can't just be me with children (and husbands) running around the house on a Saturday and Sunday...lol

Also, you say this word war will be for Nano. Does this mean that people not writing for NaNo will be excluded from the word war? As I thought that this comm was for all writers of Harry/Draco fics?

You are totally right -- the word wars are for ANYBODY who wants to write, no matter if it's NaNo, another fandom, H/D, het, 3somes, WIPs, or their own personal autobiography! We're just celebrating NaNo month in November, but in the spirit of being inclusive, we want everyone to participate, no matter what they're writing :D

Absolutely no one would be excluded!

I like the idea of weekday word wars, especially on holidays since school won't be distracting me. Of course, I'll have a paper to write over the Thanksgiving holiday but still... >_>

I have problem finding time the whole week, wake up, work, home, toddler, hubby... yeah, full schedule. But I'm always able to squeeze those things in :D
