Welcome to NaNoWriMo 2011 here at [livejournal.com profile] hd_writers! If you're aiming for 50K in November, [livejournal.com profile] hd_writers is the place to hang. Let our community support you in your writing efforts -- let's all root each other on! Even if you're not participating in NaNoWriMo yourself, you can help cheer your fellow H/D writers along. Feel free to shower participants with kudos and encouragement as they make a grab at the 50K brass ring! We'll be bringing a handful of supportive activities to the community during NaNoWriMo month to help all writers, whether you're doing NaNoWriMo, you want to finish your holiday fest fics, or it's time to finally clear that unfinished WIP from your to-do list. Those are awesome icons. I almost snagged one for myself.

I wrote my horror fanfic and my snarry vamp fanfic under NaNo. NaNo is great for getting all the words out!
