Date: 2011-09-17 08:12 pm (UTC)Beside him his Auror partner was flipping idly through a magazine, occasionally pausing at mens underwear adverts. Draco wanted to throttle him, but as he was Harry Potter, he would probably just come back to life and be an even bigger pain in Draco's arse.
As the plane began to lift upwards, nose first, Draco grabbed Potter's wrist. He squeezed so hard it stopped Potter from ogling the half naked men.
"Jesus!" Potter cried finally noticing Draco's discomfort. "Bloody hell Draco. Why didn't you say something?"
Draco shook his head from side to side, not daring to speak, not daring to move. Give him a sturdy old broom any day, not this metal tube Muggles attached wings to in an attempt to fly.
Potter rubbed his hand up and down Draco's arm in what was obviously an attempt at comfort. Draco felt gratuitous even though it wasn't really helping.
"Don't worry its nearly over," Potter soothed.
Feeling his heart beating rapidly, Draco turned his head to Potter and blurted out the one thing he'd been trying to keep in since the flaming thing began moving! "Make it stop, Harry."
Potter's mouth fell open and Draco wanted to cringe at how childish he sounded, but he was already contemplating crawling into Potter's lap and clinging to him, but he didn't know how to work the stupid seat belt.
He looked at his lap and contemplated grabbing his wand and severing the restricted belt open.
Suddenly something clamped on his chin and it startled him so thoroughly that he almost screamed. His mouth was already open but Harry Potter's lips stopped him, muffling any noise that did come out.
Eyes wide Draco felt the softness of Harry's tongue against his own which soothed each tense part of Draco's entire body. Melting against the seat, (and really weren't they just so comfortable? Muggles were geniuses) Draco allowed his eyes to fall shut and met Harry's soft, slow kiss with just as much gentleness.
After a few moments a ping was heard above their heads and Draco groaned as Harry pulled away.
He was grinning like an adorable little fool and Draco just wanted to kiss that smile right off his face and onto his own.
"You can take your seatbelt off now," Harry said softly.
Draco glanced down at his lap again and then back up at his partner's face.
"Actually, I'm quite comfortable right here."

Date: 2011-09-17 08:29 pm (UTC)Because aww, that little moment of surprise for Harry and that little moment of horror at how vulnerable he's being for Draco, but there's still that impulse to cling tight for safety and that very practical reason he can't. Anyway, it all just *works*, and it was a charming read. <3

Date: 2011-09-18 01:39 pm (UTC)Summary Kara and Brian enjoy a beautiful Sunday morning.

Looking up at the loud sound, Kara laughed when she felt Brian twitch beside her.
“Oh, poor baby. Did the big scary airplane scare you?” she asked, giggling.
Brian turned his head from where it was buried in the book he was reading, to glare at her.
“I get sucked into reading, you know that. So when the ground all but shakes beneath me because some airplane flew over my head, I startle. Alright?” Brian explained, blushing.
“I get it Brian. I just thought it was funny,” Kara said, trying to appease her boyfriend.
Brian, however, closed his book and rolled over, so he was lying on top of Kara.
“I’ll show you funny,” was all he said before tickling her sides.
Rolling in the grass, play-fighting, they enjoyed the beautiful Sunday morning.
