I like the drive of writing my 1,667 words in November. I miss that. I let things slide, and that was okay. It was all okay as long as I got my words.
It's hard to have that kind of a marker when you're talking editing, though.
The last time I did NaNo I actually did it in January, because I was too busy in November with an English class I was taking.
