The "Perfect Time"
Sep. 3rd, 2015 11:53 pm
It will never be the perfect time to write. Even what you think will be the perfect time to write won’t be the perfect time to write. Maisel told a story of the author James Jones who was one of the lucky few to make a heap of money from his writing. Jones, being a generous guy, wanted to help “some poor writers he knew by giving them enough money so that they could quit their days jobs and write.” And do you know what happened to those writers who finally had all the time in the world to write? They didn’t write a single damned thing.

Date: 2015-09-04 04:02 am (UTC)I think it just takes dedication no matter how much time you have.
I've been saying for years that people make time for the things that are important to them.
Which is making me take a not so friendly look at my own writing time or lack of it...
