Today was about as non-productive as yesterday.

Well not quite. I did manage to at least start today! So that's something! It's a far cry from what I wanted to do but it's leaps and bounds better than I've managed the last couple of weeks.

Let me sum up:
-Writer's block sucks!
-Why is it so hard to just start?
-Yay words!
-It's 5am and I'm babbling from lack of sleep XD


The muse is actually cooperating at the moment - do I go to sleep and be a mostly functional human being tomorrow or go with it and take the words when I can get them?

Get some sleep, woman. You might be able to write words in this state, but you'll probably have to delete them later. There's another 13 3/4 hours on this sucker. You can get a nap now and still write later.

Start writing, or start the story? Sometimes if can't quite find the start of the story, I start writing a bit that already have in my head properly.

Post was 45 minutes late, because I nodded off at ten to 1. D'oh!

That's a great tip for getting started! I usually write in order but I've been known to skip around if my muse isn't cooperating. But I've never thought about starting anywhere other than the beginning. That just might work! <3

No worries on teh late - it was no biggie <3

Yeah, I much prefer to start at the beginning and progress in an orderly fashion, but I've usually got some mid-way bits really clear in my head, and sometimes if I'm struggling to get started then getting those down can help get things moving.

Naww, it was just funny. Especially since I'd been up till 2.30 the nights before, then suddenly couldn't make it to 1.
