MOOD MUSIC

Music is one of the best ways to get your muse going. You slip on your headphones, turn up the volume and your mind is soaring in a world inspired by the song unfolding in your ears. The words can tell a story. The melody the mood. The beat can set the pace.

And we make playlists to help with our scenes and characters. You don’t want to listen to Girls Just Wanna Have Fun when you are writing a emotional heart wrenching part, nor would Stay(by Hurts) would be helpful to write some friendly banter. And who wants sex set to You Don’t Own Me?

This time I have 2 ways for you to get points. You can only pick one way though

For 5 points - list 5 of your favorite songs that fit one of the moods below. You can pick what mood you want to do.


For 10 points - Make a fanmix and share using 8tracks or your favorite download program. You must choose a themed mood for your mix. All mixes must have 8 or more songs, and a cover art of some sort.

Jealousy Fanmix

I actually have a bunch of playlists on writing for different genres. Also sorry for the horrible quality on these. Got most of them off of the site or youtube because I'm redoing my itunes and have no music on it yet.

And I wouldn't listen to half of these while writing but maybe it inspires others? You Belong to Me just annoys me and Every Breath You Take isn't exactly what I'd write when I'm doing jealousy but it fits.
