Well, after having a really hard time writing during the first days of the WW, I finally managed to sit down and just write today, without thinking too much about if it's any good or not. I remembered Tryslora's words, and just wrote and wrote, and I'll see if it's any good tomorrow! Oh, and thanks again for these word wars, I just love them! ♥

I cleaned my house from top to bottom reorganising everything (closets and cupboards), started a new daily routine and a new bedtime routine...my writing goals never seem to get me to write, but they do seem to get me to do all the other things I've been wanting to do for a while. So no I didn't make any of my goals (I wrote about 2k), but I've started to implement a routine that I think will help me start to reach some of my goals.

Most definitely. I"m gonna go prompt for the veela fest - and then I will have something good to work with instead of bunnies and no reason to write them. Not that I need the reason, but it's watch tv w/ girls and spend time with them or focus on writing.

I think I should go write my bad fic!! I plan on doing thee entire BINgO card...and you had soooo better read it and giv e me TONs of wonderful commetns and tell me how Hemine should act...

Yay for the words!! You beat your goal, so even though you didn't finish the fic - you met your goal! It was the way I was when I was writing my NaNo. I couldn't just stop at the 50,000 words, it didn't work. That is honestly what I should be working on right now - the editing of it. ugh

Yes, I'm definitely happy with my results. Thank you!
I actually like editing more than getting down the first draft. It's how I lose most of my time when I'm 'writing': I always have to get a running start and read the previous chapter I've written before I can start typing, and that always entails making various little edits along the way. It's like a compulsion. But I find it easier to fix what's already on the page than to come up with new material.

I typically like that part too. It's just knowing that I need to add more to it. I have had one person do the first read through and it needs more development. I think my mind is still fighting the "OMG 51000 words and you want more???"

But it's time to bring it out and work on it!

Adding: I have now finished the fic, whoo-hoo! An additional 2K today which doesn't count for the word war, but the momentum definitely carried me through. It's a total of 92K and hopefully will start uploading in February, yay!
