My stupid right arm is bothering me, and I know typing will make it worse, so I took the day off from writing. I'll attempt typing with my left hand only tomorrow if it isn't better.

Ow, that sounds painful? What happened to your arm?

Can you maybe do one of the dictation programs, and talk to your computer and have it transcribe? My boss bought one to use while she was having carpal tunnel problems.

I have carpal tunnel problems as well. It gets worse when I'm on long excavation campaigns, and we've been digging at this Viking Age village since August, so it's pretty bad right now. It used to be just my wrist, but now it's my elbow and shoulder as well. I'm actually beginning to look forward to being temporarily unemployed for a few months this winter, just to rest up properly.

I should look into a dictation program. Maybe I can get an app for my iPad. That would be great, atcually. Hopefully my spoken English is clear enough to use it.

I think most dictation programs do get trained based on how you speak, so hopefully it would work well with your spoken English. And looking forward to resting sounds good. I hope it helps!!
