“Art is a captured emotion. When I say this I mean all artists, whether you are a photographer, a writer, or sculptor, you are trying to capture the way someone or something made you feel. As a story teller I am trying to captivate the audience and allow them to feel just a small portion of the emotion I am desperately trying to preserve.”
― Tommy Tran
How does your story make you feel? When we read, we know we come away feeling something after every story, something for the characters who were a part of that world. Writing can be as emotionally evocative as reading, as you imbue those emotions into every word and action. Sometimes writing a scene can leave the writer as wrecked as the reader might be later on while reading it.
While you're here, check in below and let us know how you did yesterday with your writing, and how you're doing overall! Whether you're ahead or behind, remember, ALL WORDS ARE AWESOME WORDS and just by writing you are making progress. Need some encouragement or cheerleading or just a place to vent your frustrations? Let us know!
