“Writing is seduction. Good talk is part of seduction. If not so, why do so many couples who start the evening at dinner wind up in bed?”
― Stephen King, On Writing

Seduce your readers. Dialogue will draw them in, make them identify with the characters. It will make your story seem real. Your characters don't necessarily need to be in bed with each other, but you want your read in bed (metaphorically!) with your characters. Seduction is a game of words, so get those words out and start playing!

While you're here, check in below and let us know how you did yesterday with your writing, and how you're doing overall! Whether you're ahead or behind, remember, ALL WORDS ARE AWESOME WORDS and just by writing you are making progress. Need some encouragement or cheerleading or just a place to vent your frustrations? Let us know!

It's really easy to get down about your writing. You read something amazing, then look at your own stuff and think, "I will never be that good." Or you're half way through a scene, and it just won't work.

Well, stop right there. I bet there's something you're good at. It might be dialogue, it might be scene-setting or world-building, or writing smut... The list goes on.

Tell me something you like about your writing. It doesn't have to be earth-shattering, it doesn't have to mean you think you're the best ever at it. Just something you like about your writing, even if you think no one else would even notice. Give yourself some love.

Links or examples totally welcome!
