Here is the first week's event schedule for our GFTG Challenge! Join in as many or as few games/events as you like! At the end of the GFTG Challenge we will have a Medal Ceremony where we will award Gold/Silver/Bronze for each event! See how many medals you can collect! If you haven't signed in and declared your participation yet, you can still do that HERE! But you don't have to do so in order to compete in the individual events! It's all very low-stress and fun! You choose how much or little you want to participate! However, there will be a chance to medal as an 'All-Around Participant' for the top three who participate in the most events!

The GFTG 2012 Games will end on August 14! The second half of our schedule will be announced soon!

EVENT: Harry/Draco Canon Qualification Quiz - Round One

Welcome to the Harry/Draco Canon Qualification Quiz, round one! Below you will find 35 quotations from the Harry Potter novels -- your quest is to identify which book each quotation comes from. That's it! But be advised, some of the quotations are more difficult than others, and you may find yourself challenged here and there as you complete this quiz. There are 7 Harry Potter novels and the quiz has five quotations from each book. Each correct answer is worth 1 point. Your goal is to earn as many points as you're able to.

You may use the books, the e-books, the audiobooks, or any other canon reference you have available. However, we encourage you to first try and guess which quotations come from which book on your own before choosing to research. The quotations vary in their level of difficulty, but the one most important thing the quotations have in common is they showcase either Harry or Draco or both.

While this quiz is guaranteed to be super fun for all you canon h0rs out there, admittedly Livejournal is not set up to handle 43 answers in a single reply, so here's what we'd like to do:

1. Copy and Paste the quiz into an e-mail
2. Enter your answers directly after each quotation; just the book title is fine and abbreviations are no problem
3. Email your quiz with answers to slytherincesss at slytherincess[at]gmail[dot]com with "H/D Canon Quiz" in the subject header

Results will be posted, along with a key to the quiz so you can check your answers.
