hd_writers1. Are you a writer, beta or cheerleader? A writer, primarily, but I will beta as time allows and I'm always willing to cheer you on.
2. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects? I have over 50 projects on my to-do list currently. I write one thing at a time, though I have a couple of WIPs that I update in between.
3. Are you participating in any fests, exchanges or challenges? Working on Smoochfest and then am bidding farewell to fests for the foreseeable future.
4. What is your goal (wordcount) per month? I don't write based on word count. I will WW from time to time, mainly to make myself focus for a certain period of time, but I don't believe in setting a word count goal for myself. I never have any idea how long a fic's going to be until it's finished.
5. What are your project(s) about? (If it's a secret, we understand) Right now, Smoochfest. After that, everything else. I have 2 WIPs that are meant to be WIPs - Sex Magic and In the Aftermath of Disaster. Those will be seeing more of my time in the coming months. I have 2 other WIPs that didn't mean to be - A Lucrative Arrangement and The Last Song. They will also see more of me very soon. Hoping to finish ALL of those within the year. Hoping... that is a nice word. In addition, I have a list of charity fics that are owed to kind f-listers who donated to various causes, both with v-gifts and with auctions, etc. Loads from the Save the Hex drive. They are ALL on my list and have definitely not been forgotten. One of them will be a longer fic and will be gifted to the person who won my Purple Dove auction and also donated to Save the Hex. Finally, I have a few sequels on my plate. Healing Hands, for one, and many more. Oh - and there are some fics that I've been working on sporadically that have never seen the light of day. One's got 12k to it thus far but still needs completing, and one is plotted and has a couple of chapters written but that's it. I still want to finish those one day, and I still really want to write the plot I'd planned for Big Bang even though I can't meet the fest deadline. So there you have it - sorry you asked?
6. Is there anything else you want us to know about you? Ah, I'm really not that interesting. I have a full-time job (RN) and a part-time job (sex toy peddler) and a child (light of my life) and a husband (he's nice too) and a house (ZOMG it won't clean itself) and other hobbies that are sorely neglected due to the rest, and other things happening in my personal life. So you see, I have about 15 minutes of writing time a day if I'm lucky these days, and that is why my list is not getting any shorter. I appreciate the patience of the folks who follow my fics because it's a real challenge to get anything finished lately but I'm doing the best I can. And with that - back to it!
