“It haz to be perfect. Your family takes ‘zis very seriously. I can’t get it wrong,” Fleur said, hurrying around the table, fixing the flowers and fake cobwebs.
“It’s already perfect, love. It’s made by you. Plus, you don’t have to prove yourself to them anymore. They love you,” Bill said, trying to reassure his wife.
“Your brother, George, will find something wrong with it. He’ll make a joke, laugh at it and all my work will be ruined,” Fleur huffed, glaring at Bill.
“I’ll make George behave, love. But you know he doesn’t mean it in a bad way when he jokes, it’s just what he does. It’s worse after, you know, after Fred died, because now he feels like it’s his job to carry on with the joking. I swear though, he’ll behave tonight,” Bill said, his voice cracking on Fred’s name.
Fleur’s face softened as Bill talked about Fred. “I know your brother needs to joke, but it’s the first time Molly has allowed me to have ze party and I’m so nervouz.”
“I know. Just stop worrying for one second and try to believe me when I say it’s perfect. Then everything will be okay.”

“No, no, no,” said the house-elf. He jumped over from his side of the table to hers. The house-elf took the dish from her hand and placed it carefully in the empty spot two places away. “This plate must be given to Harry Potter.”
Winky hiccupped again and rubbed her nose with a sniff. “Why should Harry Potter get that plate?”
Dobby moved the plate carefully until it was in the perfect spot. “This plate was broken but Dobby fixed it. Harry Potter is a good boy. Harry Potter should have what Dobby fixes.”
Winky didn’t understand Dobby. She shrugged and reached for the butterbeer.
