Title Don’t think I’m over you. Author vanessawolfie on lj and tumblr Type Poem Word count 72 Warnings/Author Notes Probably not going to make a lot of sense here.
head underwater, and they tell me, to breathe easy for awhile Love Song, by Sara Bareilles.
I won’t stick my head underwater, I’ll grab the apples a different way. I’m not going to stick my head in the water, I’ll do it some other way.
You won’t make me, You’ll see you can’t. You’re not going to cut off my breath, You’ll do this some other way.
Don’t think this is over, Don’t think I’m not mad. Don’t think I’ll let you leave, Don’t think I’m over you.
Title: Warm Summers Characters: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger Rating: G Word Count: 192 Notes/Warnings: None.
The idea of bobbing for apples had been Hermione’s. The children were restless: Rose was walking up and down between the kitchen and backyard asking questions from adults and not being satisfied with the answers; Hugo and James were playing one game after another, their boredom palpable to all the adults who were at the Burrow on this Saturday afternoon; Lily was playing with Albus, who seemed more interested in destroying the blocks that Lily was placing carefully one after the other.
There were some days when no matter what Harry did his children and hers were so utterly bored. It never occurred to him to try a Muggle method of distraction.
Hermione laughed as Ron and Ginny competed against each other when their children didn’t reach their parent’s level of competitiveness.
“We should have thought of this a long time ago.”
Harry sat down calmly next to Hermione while mentally calling the two of them the sane adults. “I bet that if we leave right now no one would notice.”
Hermione turned towards him with a twinkle in her eye. “Fancy some ice cream?”
