Another Canon Question? Ghosts vs Ghouls?
Aug. 15th, 2012 10:03 amWhat is the difference between a ghost and a ghoul in HP canon?
When I tried to look it up the description I found in general for ghouls (wikipedia) seemed unlikely that it was the same thing that JK Rowling meant when she described the creature that lives in the Weasley's attic.
It's also said that the ghoul's appearance was changed to look like Ron in DH?
Does anyone have anymore insight into this?
Thanks!

Date: 2012-08-15 03:07 pm (UTC)A ghoul is an actual creature with a solid body. It's a magical creature, like an ogre or a garden gnome in that respect. It is not a supernatural being and it has nothing to do with death.
A ghost... I guess you know what a ghost is. ;)
