Kia loved Gymnastics. It was something she practiced since she was old enough to tumble. She loved the feeling of being on the bar or in the air when she used the trampoline. It required many hours of practice, exercise, and stretching, but it was part of the sport.
Every morning at five, she hit her alarm clock and slipped out of bed. She made her way to the bathroom being careful not to wake her brother’s dog along the way. She went through her morning routine before going to breakfast. After breakfast and taking her vitamins, her mom drove her to the gym and prepared for her routine.
Sometimes it was hard and there were mornings she wanted nothing more, but to sleep in. However, when she got into the Olympics she knew it was worth it.
