1. Are you a writer, beta or cheerleader? new writer
2. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects? multiple
3. Are you participating in any fests, exchanges or challenges? Yeah, I have a smoochfest fic at the beta and a DIDI fic begun.
4. What is your goal (wordcount) per month? Don't have one - I just try to get working on whatever fic I have to or want to write. The two I have mostly done are in the 10,000 to 13,000 word range.
5. What are your project(s) about? (If it's a secret, we understand) The fest fics are secret. There is another one which is almost done (but gets side-lined by fests with deadlines). It was inspired by the H/D travel fair, and is an H/D romance set a few years after the war, in Malawi, "the warm heart of Africa," a country where I lived for a couple of years.
6. Is there anything else you want us to know about you? I'm really happy to be writing! Also, my icon shows the Chichewa word for rabbit morphing into the Chinese character for rabbit. (Chichewa is spoken in Malawi.) I don't especially identify with rabbits, but I like the sound of the word, and I'm hoping it attracts plot bunnies. The calligraphy and animation is by megalomaniageek, and I got it in the japan-relief auction.

I'm glad you think the fic sounds interesting! It's called "Beekeeping", and I'll post it soon in my journal and maybe Hexfiles or somewhere - I'm new, don't know where to post! I'll send it to the shared bed fest if it's done by Saturday.

I just read your "Unexpected" story about Harry getting Snape's pardon. I liked it - Snape really deserves a reprieve, What a hellish life he had.

What is quill it? I tried to look at it but didn't quite understand how it worked. You get a prompt table to encourage you to try to write a bunch of fics - but what determines what's in the table? Didn't quite understand the claiming part.

Thank you!! I'm hoping to use each prompt and write a complete story about Snape/Harry. Quill It is quite confusing..took me forever to half way work it out. Basically you pick a prompt table and then write at least 100 words based on each prompt. Some people do unrelated stories, some do a series. The claiming process is odd...if someone has a claim on the prompt table you want you can sign up for it as a back-up for when they finish or if they drop out. It took a few months for anyone to get back to me...I'd actually forgotten about it. Then about a month ago the mod started being more active and couldn't remember my claiming. We finally got it all worked out. I've read several great stories from that comm.
