Weeeeeeeee! I had LOADS of fun. Correction: am still having. One more day and I will milk it for all it's worth!

The only thing that might have made it more fun was getting to bond more with my team. There was less a sense of competition and more a sense of "I gotta get shit done or everyone will know I didn't! O_O" Not that I necessarily want to go all "grr, other teams suck!" but just, competition is what gets me going. But IDK what kinds of stuff you could do for team bonding -- I have no good ideas. xD And anyway, I met lots of cool new people in srs, so that was yay!

And speaking of srs, I shall go there now. *vanishes in a plume of smoke*

This has been so amazing, I've gotten so much done, maybe not everything but everything is at least started if not finished. I really hope this happens again!!

Thank you so much for organising this, it got me back into things!

The only things I had trouble with was

- Constantly missing posts and not knowing what was going on but that´s not your fault, it was due to time zones and that´s just the way it is.

- RL kicking my arse something vicious. My baby was ill for nearly a week, then a long-awaited court decision came through and all of a sudden I had to do all sorts of things that don´t count for points (I can´t claim points for rushing all over the city and sitting in government waiting rooms, can I?) and last but not least a job offer came up and the application process took the better part of several days. Again, nothing you could have done anything about :)

I´d have loved some more interaction with the team. I write well when I can communicate with someone on the side - would a who´s-getting-stuff-done-right-now-post akin to writingbuds be something that people would enjoy?

I have enjoyed this – I always felt the usual word wars were a bit beyond me, more for the proper writers out there, so this was great because it is something I could join in on. I didn't finish anything, but that was more to do with my own limitations and certain real life strife and I think BOB meant I got more done than I would have so now I can at least tell Cheryl I'll be late rather than pulling out.

I found this soooooo motivating! The thing that seemed to really push me was the fact that I was working with a TEAM. I hate to let other people down so it really encouraged me to GSD even when my blah-blah health and apathetic depression were telling me just go back to bed and do it another day. Bonus Days were also particularly motivating even though I missed a few due to illness or just real life stuff.

I not only would do this again but I am crossing my fingers that we DO do this again! I've still got 1 BB to finish, another to start and finish and a smaller but no less important project I need to work on. Not to mention WIPs that have been languishing so long I fear that one day I will open my front door to an angry mob armed with torches and pitchforks demanding updates or (even worse) finished stories!

I had a great time and my heartfelt thanks to both curiouslyfic and kinky_kneazle for all the hard work you guys did for this. You both proved to be excellent motivators!

Thank you so much for this. I needed the push, and it really worked for me getting things done that needed to be done, despite me not having a lot of time to do them. The only point thing that still feels weird for me is the betaing points, which seems high by word count, but low by time, but I'm reeeeally not sure where it ought to be to fit in my head, so I'm sure it's fine then. I just counted mine by how in-depth they were.

Okay, so at least Curi should know by now that I LOVED this BOB thing. I loved the motivation it gave me to push out a couple of more words before I got to sleep just to get like those 2 points more for word count, or get a point more for finishing bonus. I also loved the push of the Bonus Days. What I loved as well was that even though there are all these things that push you to do better, there's no REAL pressure; if you can't/won't/don't want to get shit done that day, you don't HAVE to.

I want to thank you two, Curi and Kneazle for modding this. I'd love it if we did this again, and I just hope I'll be able to participate that time as well.

My only tick for things to go differently was Team activities. I mean, we didn't really do much with the teams, but I think that if next time, there will be a couple of "team leaders" or just someone from each team or something and they'd do a couple of threads each week, like: "How is your list going?" or "What stresses you most right now?" or "Do you need help right now?" or stuff like that, where people would talk about stuff they're doing, and we'd all reply to what we could with cheerleading thoughts and stuff :D

I have to add my comment too that I really enjoyed the hell out of this month (one more day to go too!) and I'm so glad I participated. I wrote way more this month than I usually do, plus I think through setting goals for myself based on the points system, I've put into place some good habits that can keep my productivity high.

I have no complaints. This was just the right amount of pressure for me to keep me motivated but not overwhelm me. I like it that it was very much a "participate when you can" kind of deal, but that I still was motivated to earn points for my team and not slack off. Even when I spent a week sick, I still forced myself to get some words out, and that never would have happened without BOB!

I hope you guys do it again! I will definitely participate. I know it must be a crapton of work for you guys though with all of the posting and organizing and spreedsheet-of-dooming. Thank you for all you do!!

This has been amazing! Even though I was only able to participate for the second half of the month, I finished my Podfic BigBang and got a ton of other stuff done, as well! You guys were awesomely awesome!!!! \o/

The weekily check ins seemed to confuse people. Maybe a newcheck in post each week? Basically the way you did the bonus check ins - people identify their team each week, rather than checking in back at the Comon Room?

Team activiteis would be potentially awesome. Dunno, I'm on the fence about that one. It would be good to do more with the teams. I have no idea how you would do that.

This month has been Awesome (capital letter earned and deserved) - I got an official fuck-ton done AND met loads of new people via chatzy. For me, it's been unbelievably motivational, so thank you mods for working so hard to run this! The overall atmosphere of we're all in this together was great - kudos to the cheerleaders *\o/*

I'd agree with the suggestion for a new check in post each week. You could maybe just have one check in post with the team names as comments, and then people reply to the comments for their team? Also, would it be possible to make the common-room posts sticky posts for the duration of BOB, with a focus on team chatter rather than checking in? They got lost pretty quickly with all the posts that came afterwards. And like vanessawolfie and lady_of_clunn said, it would have been cool if we'd interacted more as a team.
