Here’s your official team post. Make of it what you will. This is your team’s Common Room for the month; the only thing we’ll be looking at is the check-in comments, so make sure you’re posting yours as a reply to this.

The only real team assignment you'll be getting is to pick a team name and/or mascot. Like the one you have? Awesome. Want something else? Also awesome. Just let us know what you've all come up with by April 1 so we can get it right on the kick-off post.

Checking in too! I didn't get to finish my Beltane draft this week as I hoped, but I've only got like 2k left to go...I'm writing two alternate endings and I'm possibly looking for a second beta to help me gut this fic and make it actually enjoyable to read so if anyone is interested, lmk! :)

I will be cranking away on the epic!fail of Conscience. The plan is 600-800 words/day. For the month of March I cleared 17,000 words--which sounds awesome until you realize it's maybe 680/day and I could do better.

The Goals for April Are As Follows:

All together, that should make something like 270 points before completion bonuses et al. We'll see how that turns out.

For myself, I have to do:

~12 000 for late Christmas fics
2000 for charity fic
Possible beta for a friend, ~20-40k, depending
6000-10 000 of proofing per week
Mini art project(s)

As Beltane is supposed to be due the 17th, that's my main project. Some of the numbers are grossly estimated, but you never know. Knowing me, there will probably be several other projects that will start and fail throughout the course of the month.

Goals for April:

Finish Hysteria. This should happen in 3 or 4 chapters of about 3000 words each. It´s my main project; I need to get this off my back.

Finish the web site translation for E. I think I have about 10 documents left (can´t check because they are on the diseased laptop right now) and the text is extremely repetitive, but not enough so for me to be able to copy-paste things from one document into the next. The problem why I haven´t got round to it in one word: boring :(

Goals for the month (there will probably be more that pop up here, but these are the ones for sure):

-- Another 10k on the long!fic, plus edits from beta, and then posting it. (This'll probably be done within the first few days of the month)
-- Smoochfest (plot it, write it, get it beta'd, do edits, turn it in). Which, um... Well, this is ME, here, so... 15-50k?
-- Sequel to the Suits fic I wrote (prob 5-10k)
-- At least 10k on the sequel to my Inception Big Bang (promised to someone if the original hit a particular number of kudos on AO3)
-- All of the 5 WAY overdue charity drabbles
-- At least 10k on the long-ish charity fic I owe
-- A non-fic project (no idea how many words, but prob 5-10 pages)
-- Finding more sources for the academic-style paper I've been planning to write on an aspect of the HP series (several hours of research)
--Plotting/outlining at least one additional Suits fic.

Also want to finish one of my Hunger Games fics that've been half-finished for months.

...I have too much shit to do. There are other things I want to finish, but, yeah. Might take more than April.

Yaayyyy another long fic for smoochfest!

Okay....a little late to the party due to holiday but here are my goals for the month of April:

Beltane: Due in April and total word count roughly zero (no roughly about it). Based on sketchy outline - I expect to do around 8,000 words on this.
Smoochfest: Due 1 May and total word count roughly zero (yes, there's a theme here!) - this could be anywhere from 6,000 - 12,000 words depending on the muse
NextGen Dark: Roughly 2,500 words in, around 3,000+ more to go and lots of editing required. Possible art for this too if mods allow it.
Snarry-a-Thon: Due April total word count roughly zero. I expect this to be around 12,000 words and will be doing some art too, I think.
Snarry Big Bang: I will be amazed if I have time to think about this, but knowing me I will get distracted by all the shiny and start writing it so who knows...end word count hopefully will be around 30-40k. I will definitely get some outlining done in April.
Lucius Big Bang: As per Snarry Big Bang
Glompfest: Nothing happening yet, but I'm damn well signing up for it. Is claiming during April?
General arsing around: Snupin drabbling if Lupin_Snape hold random drabble/drawble nights, possible co-writing long H/D fic of epic!sad (with a happy ending ;-))...General plot bunnies and muse driving means I sometimes just have to write random fic of random while I break (read 'hide in the corner') from fest fics - over April, who knows how many will get done? *Whistles and tries not to get distracted*
Art: More planned for this month so let's see how it goes...
Beta reading: Who knows? People ask me on a fairly ad hoc basis although I often get asked to Brit Pick which I assume counts - no idea on word total.
Original Fic: The never ending WIP of original fic. My muse has been AWOL but if I can kick back into it there is always the chance of a chapter or two or some poetry getting knocked out - we'll see.

Goals for this month: Writing - I am aiming for at least 2,500 a day. Art - I would like to get at least 2 good quality bits done. Other shit - Who knows? Would be good to stop signing up for stuff for a start...
