International Week of Writing All the Words and Getting Shit Done!

Well done everyone who got some words writ in the Word War this weekend!

Next week we're hosting Get Shit Done at gsd_rtfn, starting on Monday 28th, with the final check in being Monday 4th April.

If you've never done Getting Shit Done before, you pick one WIP to work on - preferably one that you're fairly certain you can finish in a week if you were to work on it every day, but with a lot of Big Bangs and other fest fics happening, you can work on those, too. Post a paragraph and your current word count to the sign up post, which will be posted at gsd_rtfn on Monday 28th. Each day there will be a check in post, where you post your new word count, and snippet of what you've written. Then go and cheer on others who have posted their updates, and they'll cheer you on. It's a great supportive atmosphere.

If you need to remain anonymous for a fest, just post anonymously. For those working on Merlin fic for paperlegends, the mods would prefer that you not post snippets here, but would encourage you to go to paperpushers for writing support.

This is multi-pairing, multi-fandom! We will support you, whatever you're writing!

• In the subject line of your comment, post the pairing and tentative title.
• Post a snippet from the work. (optional)
• Please warn if your snippet has triggery stuff.
• Give me your total word count as it stands now.
For art:
• In the subject line of your comment, post the pairing and tentative title.
• Post a pic of your WIP as it stands now (optional)
• Please warn if your pic has triggery stuff.

I suppose I couldn't use this to motivate me to get my sodding university paper done? I should hand it in by April 4th . . . and my motivation is down there somewhere close to the centre of the earth :(

IDEK. It's during the week, so it might work for me, but writing is something that has to get squeezed inbetween so many other things and some weeks there just isn't time and I end up feeling like a huge failure because I didn't get any words written. Le sigh.
