Saturday is Drabble Day!!!

My fellow lovely mods are letting me take over the comm this Saturday for Drabble Day! The idea is blatantly stolen from tjs_whatnot, who I hope will forgive me.

In the interest of helping creativity flow and taking a day off from fests and deadlines, we are offering a day of drabble prompts. Drabbles are short pieces of writing and in this case are intended as short, non-polished pieces to prod your creativity.

Here are the rules...

♥ Drabble Day starts midnight Saturday, September 17 and will run for 24hrs, so the last prompt will be 11pm on Saturday.

♥ Every hour, on the hour, a new prompt will be posted. The prompt will be a word, a phrase, a picture or a mini writing exercise. Write something (anything!) that comes from that prompt and post it as a comment.

♥ Of course, we love Harry/Draco, but the purpose of this exercise is to forget about fests and stresses and deadlines and let your creativity free, so any pairing/fandom/original piece of writing will count.

♥ Join in for as many or as few as you like.

♥ At the end of the 24hrs we'll congratulate everyone and rejoice in the fount of imagination that we have created and maybe we'll give a little prize for the person who writes for the most prompts.

Sounds like fun, but I have a question: do you mean real drabbles of 100 words, or are you actually meaning ficlets (= small pieces of writing with a low word count)?
