If You Set Other Goals (get characters to hook up, find a way to work in some smut/angst/fluff, reach a certain plot point, whatever), Are You Progressing? I finished the draft of the second chapter of BAON. I also failed utterly at plotting it.
Anything To Share (flailing, requests for butt-kicking, pep-talks, snippets, etc.)?
“Yeah, well, there are a couple of things you should know before you do.” The sound of typing stops, and Stiles imagines Danny’s expression going as serious as his tone. “TJ is adopted. I’m trying to get back through his records to see if there’s a link.”

“He told me that, and I’m guessing there’s a link. I’ll send you a picture if I can get one. It’s seriously like seeing Jackson with a smile, dude. Lydia calls it creepy.” Stiles bites his tongue just before he manages to let slip what else Lydia has said about TJ, because that’s unconfirmed and he’s not going to gossip to Danny.

“He also has a temper,” Danny says quietly. “I had to dig to get this, because it’s been sealed. Juvenile records, right? But when he was fifteen, he was accused of beating another kid senseless. The kid had a broken jaw, bruises, injuries that looked like he was stabbed, and he was burned. T. Jefferson Davis was acquitted because the defense showed that there was no way that he was physically capable of doing the kind of damage done in the time frame that the fight supposedly took place. The guy he beat up was four inches taller and a solid eighty pounds heavier, mostly muscle. If you look at it from the point of view of a jury and a lawyer, they were probably right. But if you look at it with a different point of view…”

He doesn’t need to finish that sentence.

“If you look at it from a different point of view, Jackson might not be the only one who ran into the supernatural,” Stiles says quietly. “Burns, Danny? What the hell does that?”
