Start small. OK, you knew I was going to say this, but it’s really important. All you have to do is start writing each day — you don’t have to write 1,000 words or anything. Just start, and how much you do doesn’t matter. Once the habit is in place, you can lengthen it, but for now just start. - [source: here]

Be sure to keep track of your own daily writing! Remember there will be awards for those that write every day! But also awards for those that write some days (depending on your level of success!)

Only did a few dozen words worth of editing today. Not had much time for writing:\ Went to class and then boozed it up with my mom for her 50th:'D Couldn't possibly have found the time to squeeze in ten minutes of writing when I was busy painting butterflies and drinking wine...lol

Does beta-ing count? Because in that case, probably a couple hundred words...lol how important is it that I keep an exact count of how many words I've written? hopefully not very...

*edit* WAIT! Just wrote 3 snupin drabbles. There's 300 words right there. *FEELS ACCOMPLISHED*

200 words for hp_halloween, which means I finished my assignment for it! Also, three essays for a Literature assignment, which was handwritten. :D Now that I've gotten homework out of the way I can focus on my hd_owlpost fics!

I feel like I am just getting a very rough version of the story down at the moment, and that I'll need to go back and polish a lot. But that's OK, I think. At least I'm getting something down.

About 250 words... some new words and some dialogue that I typed up from a hand written note I'd made previously and didn't want to forget it! Small progress is small but still PROGRESS!
