Did you Finish a Thing?: no. But that's okay, I wasn't planning on finishing anything.

But I did manage to do a lot of research and secure a beta for fan fair, so I'm really happy about that. Oh! And I replied to all the comments on my smoochfest fic. That took forever, but I've had such a hard time not being able to thank people for their lovely comments, so I'm happy to be able to do it at last!

Anything To Share (flailing, squeeing, sobbing, etc.)? I had to skip ahead to a later scene in order to get through the words for today, so I'll have to go back and rewrite/fill in later. But I'm pleased I got the words down. Now if only I can re-arrange my schedule so that I'm writing in the mornings instead of late at night when I can hardly see straight.

Did you Finish a Thing?: YES! finished and posted a fullmoon story, finished and posted a random ficlet, and sent the July DD story to beta. also wrote a full chapter in the WiP
If You Set Other Goals (get characters to hook up, find a way to work in some smut/angst/fluff, reach a certain plot point, whatever), Did You Meet Them? The Sterek BB is off and running by itself. I had hoped to draft the TW BB this weekend, but the Sterek BB ate my brain and I put lots of words into that instead. Technically, it is at the halfway point wordwise. Except, I'm pretty sure it's nowhere near the halfway point plotwise. *sighs*

He tries not to think how weird it is to leave a girl he barely knows—a girl who spent the night without actually doing anything with him—behind in his apartment in the morning. He’d text Scott, but he’s pretty sure that conversation would grow out of control quickly, so he’ll save it for Tuesday night instead.

Right now, it’s more important to get his dad on the phone.

His dad’s night shift helps with the time zones, and Stiles dials him at work, knowing he’ll still be there for another few hours. “Dad! Hey.”

“Out of money, Stiles?”

“Dad, do you think so little of me?” Stiles spreads his hands, gestures still fluid even though his father can’t see him speaking. “Actually, yes, I’m out of money, but I also get Scott tomorrow and I’m planning on taking him grocery shopping the very next day, so we’ll be fine. Once the budget starts to smooth out, I won’t be as broke, which will be good. Living here without a roommate for a few months has been tight. But no, that’s not why I called.”

Woohoo! Yay for making goal! And sometimes skipping ahead and leaving notes of "write this later" really do work best for keeping the words flowing. I hope the schedule rearranging works out for you!!

It was almost all in the weekend... being able to buckle down for an hour or two, plus stories that didn't require being coaxed. Mostly luck, and I'm hoping to keep up the absurd pace so I can get these big bangs off my plate. Thank you!!
