First and foremost: My apologies for falling off the ends of the earth at the end of the last word war. The storm that came through, combined with having to go back to work after vacation, kind of destroyed my time and I'm only just coming back from it. I may not get back to respond to the last comments on the final check-in post, so I wanted to say this here:

Thank you to EVERYONE for helping ring out the old year and ring in the new in such a wonderful, productive way. You are all incredible, and you made fantastic words, and I'm so proud of everyone. YOU ROCK!!

Second, I am still working on getting a schedule for wars for 2014 set up. Unfortunately, RL chaos has kept me from finalizing it, but I hope to get that done soon, so keep an eye out here for future word wars!

Note: Welcome to the new year!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I'd like to apologise for this being late because, although the two weeks over Christmas and New Year were planned, yesterday was meant to be going ahead. Unfortunately, flooding in my area has caused various power cuts and internet outages. Therefore I am one day late. I apologise!! WELCOME BACK EVERYONE.
