48 Hours of Fast, Furious, Ferocious, Fantastical Fiction !

Heads up! Join us for hd_writers NaNoWriMo 2011 WORD WAR I! Word War I will run from Friday, November 4, 2011, 12 NOON, to Sunday, November 6, 2011, 12 NOON*. Why only 48 hours instead of 72? Because hd_writers will be bringing you multiple word wars during the month of November, to keep those creative juices flowing. As well, many people are only able to do focused, in-depth writing on the weekends due to work and time constraints, and we wanted to be able to offer choice timing. Fri, Sat, Sun not your weekend? No worries! We'll be bringing at least one word war during weekday hours for those not on a traditional M-F schedule.

V-gift and LJ Token awards will be given out to the following writers:

- Highest Overall Wordcount
- 10K+ Words
- 8K + Words
- 5K+ Words
- 2 Random Awards for General Participation :D

Word War I will begin at noon MST on Friday, November 4th, with a 24-hour check-in at noon MST on Saturday, November 5th. The war will end on Sunday, November 6th at noon MST, with final check-ins. Awards will be announced and distributed on Monday, November 7th! We all hope to see you warring with us this weekend and hope the competition will provide some excellent writing motivation for all WWI participants.
