Mini Word War Reminder

Hey everyone!

Just dropping by with a reminder post for everyone that our 24 hour word war is starting in roughly 2 1/2 hours! That is 12:00 am GMT! I'll be posting a check-in post right around the start of the war with further details, as this is just a reminder for everyone to start getting ready.

You can check out THIS POST for the details again if you haven't seen them yet. I'll also repost the prize info and links to our Chatzy rooms with the check-in post when the war begins.

Mini Word War, Starting NOW

Well, everyone, it looks like it's time to start our Word War!

We're running for 24 hours, which means the war ends at 12:00 am GMT tomorrow. (Apologising for any confusion with the timezones- with daylight savings time in effect in EST and not in GMT, it throws things off just a little bit)

Post a comment below to check in; give us your starting word count, and tell us what you're working on if you want! Then, keep track of your words written over the next 24 hours, and I will make another post when the word war ends to tell you to check in again with your final count.

In case you've forgotten what the prizes are, here you go!
Anyone who writes 5k or more during the word war will receive a 100 word drabble with pairing & prompt of their choice.
The person with the highest word count during the war will receive their choice of one of the following: 5 drabbles (either in a series or unrelated) with pairing & prompt of their choice, 5 icons with pairing or theme of their choice, a story banner (200x600), or a mix-&-match of drabbles and icons.

Joining in the Chatzy rooms is not required to be a part of the war, but we often hold smaller wars in the room to keep ourselves motivated, and to bounce around ideas when someone asks for help.
