Word War- March 19-20

A WORD WAR IS COMING!


This weekend, hd_writers is hosting a 48 hour word war! Keep track of your word counts over the time period and we will see who was the most productive!

It will begin this Saturday at 12:00am GMT (midnight) and end Monday at 12:00am GMT (midnight). That is 48 hours of writing!

What is a WORD WAR?

Essentially, a word war is timed writing. Participants get together and set a time limit – say, 10 minutes or half an hour – and then write as much as they can in that time period. Authors are allowed to work on any project, and as many different ones as they like. You can edit or write – so long as there is some creative work being done. At the end of the time slot, authors post how many words they have written, be it 10 or 800. Every word brings you that much closer to your goal! ♥

Keep an eye on the community, as I will be posting a starting post for you to check-in as you join the war! You don't have to participate the entire weekend, just jump in whenever you can :)

The winner with the most words will receive a v-gift. Also, anyone who writes 10k in two days (regardless of if you are the ultimate winner or not) will also recieve a v-gift.

All members of hd_writers are welcome to participate! Here's a chance to work on your hd_bigbang or any other creative writing projects you have going on at the moment!
