hd_writers | ...a word war is coming...

I know it seems like we just finished one, but I wanted to round April out with a BANG (word war style). Get all your projects together, and map out those due dates. Start planning, because we will be having a WEEK LONG word war.

The war will begin on Wednesday, April 24th (at the start of the day according to your own local time) and it will end on Tuesday, April 30th (at the end of the day according to your own local time). That is SEVEN WHOLE DAYS of writing fun.

Do you have things due in the first couple weeks of May? Here's your chance to finish them up! Are you scrambling for words so you can hit word count for your monthly pledge here or at Camp NaNo? Get those words down and finish strong!

I'll be asking not only what your word count goal is, but what projects you hope to finish by the end of the war. You can count betaing, first drafts, submitted drafts, art pieces... if you are able to say it is DONE in some manner or another, we will want to hear about it and cheer you on. It's not just about the number of words, but the things you accomplish.

And don't worry, if you can't participate the whole week, just do what you can! Remember, any words you get that you didn't have before are better than nothing, right??

So get ready... the sign in post will go up on Tuesday, in time for those on the other side of the world from me to start for their Wednesday morning.
