Halloween was his favourite holiday. How could it not be when he had an excuse to scare itty-bitty children? But that didn’t mean there wasn’t a day even better than All Hallow’s Eve.
On September first of every year, he waited impatiently for the right time. Because when new blood comes through the doors of Hogwarts, small children barely eleven years old, all they have in their heads is magic. They don’t know about ghosts, and if they did, they didn’t expect him.
It was always a treat to scare them. It was even more fun to prank them.
He loved doing what he did; because Peeves loved being spooky.
