The starter's pistol has fired and you're off! Welcome to hd_writers's 48 hour word sprint. The 48 hour sprint starts at 12:00 P.M. EST Sunday 5 August 2012 and ends 12:00 P.M. EST Tuesday 7 August 2012. If you need a reminder, EST is East Coast/New York, US time. Come and join in our sprint -- your goal is 10K words* in 48 hours. However, as always, every word written is a step closer to the gold and every effort is a success!

Leave a comment with your starting word count. You are not limited to writing H/D -- any and all pairings, gen, het, or anything else on your plate is welcome. We'll have a check-in at 24 hours and then finish at 48 hours with our final word counts. LET'S GO FOR THE GOLD!
