How are your 2012 writing goals going? Have you been able to stick to your plan? It's not too late to make your goals a reality! Or maybe it's time to re-evaluate?

May was my worst month so far this year. With commencement at the college where I work, things were just too crazy. Add in the edits I had to do, and I made only 18k new words all month.

For June and August this year I am doing Camp NaNo. I'm counting all words I write, whether for fest fics or on the novel I hope to have complete by end of August (well, first really horrifyingly rough draft anyway). So far I've written 12k, and WAS ahead of the game until a thumb injury made sure I accomplished NOTHING today. I've also finished a fic and sent it off to beta, and crazily signed up for ANOTHER fest because three wasn't enough or something. I'm insane. I'm sure of it.

This weekend, while my husband and daughter are away in CT, I'm hoping to spend time with my son AND get some good writing time in after he goes to bed. Also eat out a lot, because without a right thumb, I am SO not cooking. And I can't do dishes!

For may I wrote about 40k approx. Most of which I don't like so here's hoping to 40k of words I enjoy this month ;)

I am found guilty.

I started writing in late April while before that I was a fic translator for around a whole year with probably 8K words per day... And then I've decided to try writing on my own and started with maybe around 10K in April and May ALL added together?

And I haven't been writing for like a whole week now because I've encountered a HUGE writer's block =v=. (Don't you just HATE these ilttle devils?) and it was a fic that I promised a friend that I would be writing for her based on one of her art... and so far I've broken my promise of the period of time that I'd think I would have it completed and I am hoping I could really get to finish it by the end of the month... *fingers crossed*

As for this month's goal and plan, I am participating in the upcoming CareerFair fest and TimeTravel fest to give myself some kind of challenge and possible a EXISTING deadline to pull my lazy self through with the word wars. I am looking to accomplish around maybe 30K this month depending on how I am drafting the fics and those accumulated unfinished fics... =v=

I wish someone could chase my arse up into actually COMPLETING my set goals because I KNOW I tend to drift away into other things than being intimate with the keyboard...

And that's about it :P

I did not do as much in May as I should, and therefor, I need to finish my fest fic before june 16th and I'm not sure if it's there yet.

I'm taking part in the hp_friendship fest. I have the idea mostly planned out, but now I'm stuck, I don't know if I should conclude the tension now or go on for a couple of more scenes. Hopefully I'll figure it all out soon.
