Author Notes: I was viewing an entry on the kurt-blaine comm on lj, and saw these pictures of Darren Criss. There was this one commenter who said something and ended the comment, ‘What obsession?’ or something along that note. Then I saw this prompt, and just couldn’t *not* write this. Sorry.
Draco was playing with his hair again, smoothing it down and pretending that he wasn’t making longing stares out the window.
“Draco, darling, stop staring...it’s disgusting.”
“What?” Draco said, turning around and facing his best friend while he attempted to keep his cheeks from flushing. “I have no idea what you’re talking about, Pans.”
“Sure you do, love.” Pansy turned a wicked smile on him and he couldn’t help but gulp. “Longbottom...you watch him every bloody day. It’s getting pathetic now. Why not just go talk to him?”
Draco scowled and crossed his arms. “I am not. You’re mental, Pans. Mental.”
“Am I?” Pansy asked, blinking her eyes innocently at him. “I mean no one blames you.” She leaned closer to him, her lips only inches from his ear. “He’s not that annoying, little twat he used to be. He’s quite fit now. And a war hero...if you don’t remember. Plus, he has no idea how fit he is. You can use that to your advantage.”
“Yes, I know,” Draco replied after a long pause.
“So...it’s perfectly acceptable if you like him.”
“I-I”
“Bloody hell, Malfoy, we all know that you obsess over him. Do something about it now...or I will.” Her dark eyes flashed at him and a mischievous smirk was plastered on her face. “I’m waiting.”
Draco sighed and rolled his eyes. “Fine, Pans. You win.” He straightened his shirt and shook out his hair, making sure it fell perfectly in place. “And I’m not obsessed.”

“Look at him, walking around like he owns the place.” Draco stabbed his potato while staring at Harry, who had just entered the Great Hall. Pansy stared at the boy she once thought liked her, but which she now knew had no feelings for her.
She rolled her eyes when he continued, complaining over the way he ate, the way he sat, and the way he spoke. “If he crosses my path one more time I’ll show him.”
Not able to take it anymore Pansy carefully rested her fork by her plate. “What will you do? Kiss him?”
“No, wait, what?” Somehow Draco managed to take his eyes off Harry. “What did you just say?”
Not wanting to pretend like nothing was wrong she decided to tell him what she thought. “You’ve been obsessing over him for months, getting annoyed at every tiny thing he does. I think you have a crush on him, but don’t know what to do with them, so you end up obsessing over every tiny thing he does.”
“You’re completely wrong Pansy. I do not have feelings for him.” Draco looked back at Harry, probably trying to figure out if Pansy was right or not.
“Am I? Or are you just afraid to admit it to yourself?” She could see that she gave Draco something to think about, which was good since she couldn’t stand being around him during his tirade. “I really don’t care what happens between you two, but either you tell him, or you keep your mouth shut.” Secretly she hoped for the last, because if they did become a pair she knew Draco would not shut up about his boyfriend.
