I'd like to get to... at least the cut-short-by-realisation!celebration scene, but even that's pushing it. But I'm aiming super-high this week, so my word count goal is 30k!

For today, let's go with:
1) Get at least 5 additional scenes plotted/outlined.
2) Write at least 2 of those scenes.
3) Get at least 5k of that 30k goal.
3. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects?
For this round, just one is the goal. But I might pop into another fic!doc as a way to take a break from this particular one, before it kills me.
4. Are you participating in any fests, exchanges or challenges?
Yep. A couple. One's my primary focus, and another might be something I toy with when I need a break from the first.
5. Do you have anything else to share? (flailing, requests for butt-kicking, pep-talks, etc)
Sometimes, I just need an old-fashioned butt-kicking, or some prodding to make sure I'm on task. But I should theoretically have one person who will help me when I start to slack or get stuck (as she knows the fic quite well), as I will be providing the same service for her, on a fic of hers I know quite well!
Also, using an icon a friend made for me (based on something I said in a chat, once) for this, as it's oh-so appropriate!

Which is in some ways wonderful, and in some ways absolutely heartbreaking because it means tossing a good 9k worth of words out the window. I'm keeping them in my annual count, because I DID write them, but they are going to be gone from the novel itself. Also, I will likely need plenty of poking to get things done this week, as the week looks utterly exhausting.

Date: 2012-03-12 06:11 pm (UTC)I need to finish writing my short story before Thursday. I have about 2.300 words now, and I need at least 1000-2000 more to make an end. It might even get longer. If I'm able to finish that by Thursday, I'll hopefully write some fic, either a Hp one, Klaine, or Tuck/FDR from 'This means war' :D

My goal would be to finish out writing a scene where the lead character starts lashing out and the kids start to beat him up in return. Also, hopefully, I'll manage to write the next scene for the story.

I'll be working on my short story and other assignments from my creative writing class. Hopefully, I'll have time later in the week to write some fic.

Nope, no time for fests and stuff. My creative writing class keeps me busy with things, and if I manage some time for something other, it's a short reaction fic or something like that. :D

I can't believe I'm writing something original and that I have a deadline on it, and that I'll be turning it for a teacher. :S
