WHAT ZONE? ALL TIME ZONES!

What do I mean by "all time zones"? It's so hard to choose the best time zone that will be the most inclusive of everyone, so I thought let's shake things up and compete in a time zone free-for-all! As long as you document 72 hours of word warring over the next five days (Th - Fri - Sat - Sun - Mon) you will be eligible for the gold! To be completely clear, I'm setting the final cutoff for all time zones for 12:00 P.M. TUE 14 AUG GMT. That should be enough time to give everyone the opportunity to word war for 72 hours without worrying about the time zones. I will put the sign-up post up within the next 4-6 hours, and you are free to sign up when it's convenient for you. Just take care to allow yourself a full 72 hours to compete. We're nearing the end of our games -- let's go for the gold with a bang!

Er. Do the 72 hours need to be consecutive? I'm trying to figure out when in that I might actually have time to write.

I was thinking consectutive, yes.

Consecutive because our word wars are always consecutive, and I'm sure you can imagine how difficult it would be to figure out, as a mod, how many hours someone participated in their given time zone if there were staggered rounds. So, yeah, consecutive.

Let's try again and put this where I meant to put it...

Okay, so if I start today at noon, I go until Sunday noon (my time, of course) and that's my 72 hours. This makes sense. I'll just track in a spreadsheet and make sure I don't miss things. Whee! Gods know I need to WW to get caught up on NaNo this month!

First, I probably won't be competing, cuz I haven't so much as done more than write my name in at least a month. Ah, well, maybe another time.

What I really wanted to say, though, was that is one of the most awesome pieces of artwork I've seen, ever! I just love it. The expressions on their faces are absolutely priceless.

Well, all I can say is, well done you! They are brilliant characters, it is true (especially as some of the fans have written and expanded their personalities), but that picture just captured their ennui to a 't'. Even the flag waving looks totally half-arsed, and completely in character if forced to do something like that.
