It was close to four in the morning when Harry pressed a hand to the library door and pushed open the heavy oak. He winced and cast a futile glance over his shoulder as the door creaked and groaned on its hinges.

Behind him, Draco rolled his eyes. "No one is here, Potter."

“Sneaking is half the fun,” Harry whispered, standing perfectly still and peering into the darkness.

Draco, in his impatience, stepped forward and pressed his chest to Harry’s back. “Are we going in,” he whispered in Harry’s ear, “or are we going to stand here all night?”

CHECK IN, CHECK IN!

I am now on 4234 words of progress since we started, woo. Working on a story for the HP 'Get Lucky' fest that I somehow signed up for, and obviously Number Seven. CHAPTER TWELVE, YOU ARE NOW MY BIATCH.

“Potter?” Draco said, his gentle voice breaking Harry out of his daze.

“Yeah?” he asked unsteadily, eyes locked on Draco’s and unable to look away. He felt strangely vulnerable that he’d admitted that he probably wouldn’t cope without drinking either, and hoped that Draco wouldn’t turn spiteful about it. But no, Draco was just watching him with sad eyes, like they understood each other again, looking almost concerned-

“I’m going to throw up,” Draco said matter-of-factly.

1. What are your writing goals for the week? (projects to finish, word counts, etc?) going back to my first estimate of 30K, I might actually be able to pull it off, who would have thought.

2. What is your goal for the day? 500 to 5.000

5. Have you made any progress or had any pitfalls? Finished writing 4 out of 9 scene-blocks for the planned checked in with just over 7K yesterday, checking in with 12.050 words today, which gives me just over 4.7K in new words. :) progress!! :D

6. Do you have any snippets to share? feck, it, have some (it's tiny, but I'm quite happy with it so... :D):

They don’t speak as they walk through their flat. The moment they returned home, Scorpius has let go of Albus’ hand and the distance between them might as well be as vast as the space between galaxies, for all he wants to, Albus knows that even if he reaches out and touches Scorpius now, he is too far away to reach him.

Finish nextgen (which I just did!).

I finished my nextgen piece and sent it hopefully off to beta.

Nothing I can grab easily. I'll give a total wordcount and more snippets at the end of the week.

Someone whistled lewdly. Harry wasn't sure if the cat-call was at himself or the gaggle of rather drunk uni girls stumbling along a few meters ahead of him. Despite the cold, their legs were bare, teetering in heavy high-heeled shoes. He dashed forward reflexively, saving one of them before she tumbled into a stack of rubbish bags on the street corner.
“Thanks,” the girl muttered, eyes too pissed to see him properly.
“'S alright, love,” Harry said absently, settling the girl on her feet, releasing her as soon as she was safe in the arms of her wobbly-legged cohorts.
“Mmmm,” one of them eyed him blatantly. Up and down her sparkle-adorned eyes went, lingering on his bum and chest, groin, glasses and, at last, his face. “Yeeer hawt. Wanna come home with us, British boy?”

Today was a total bust. This morning, I finished the draft of the really important section I wanted to get done. However, since then, I did not manage to get to any of my goals of the day.

Here's a short snippet from the new fic I started a few days ago, which is based off of a drabble I posted recently.

“Miss Ariadne.”

Her eyes light up as if the sun had filled her vision. “Arthur,” she gently reprimands me, “if I hear you call me ‘miss’ once more I am going to have some firm words for you. Before this past year you never once called me by a title. We are to be husband and wife, and spouses do not speak in titles.”

My total goal was to write chapter 5, start to finish.

2. What is your goal for the day?
My daily goal was like, 500-1000 words, whatever I could manage.

just one!

nope!

Yes! I wrote 850 words today! I'd like to get some more done tonight before bed though :) We'll see!
