For those of you doing Nano!

For those of you who are doing Nanowrimo -

Here's a poll meant for fun and encouragement! I'll try to post up check-ins once a week or so!

How is your word count going? If you're on schedule, according to the Nano calendar, you could have 15000+ words by today :)

[Poll #2027470]

Feel free to comment below to share how you're doing or ask for extra encouragement or cheerleading! :)

I'm actually really close to 20k and should pass that today since I've scheduled an hour or so of writing time (the other hour is being used for alphaing and editing) tonight. I pretty much lost five days to running a convention, but then took a sick day and may have spent much of that catching up on words while lazing around on the couch recovering. I am also weirdly looking forward to getting work done on my car on Thursday because I will have to sit and wait for two hours which will all be writing time, woohoo!

I'm over 50k but still going; trying to see how many I can write in the month. Are you doing nano, Kitty?

I gave myself a goal this year of 50k in a day, and I started at midnight and wrote for 15 hrs straight, just to prove to myself I could. At the end of my run I was at 60,892 for day one. It also came at the frustration of having a lot of my docs lost in a comp reset. So I was like I NEED ALL MY WORDS. It was a crazy day.

YAY FOR YOUR HUBBY!!!!

It was a travesty! *All the cries*

Not really, just started random things when one thing would taper off and would write on that and then kept doing that until I ran out of steam. I had like five redbulls, I haven't even looked at the words yet. They are probably awful Hahah so the insanity might have come at a price. My hands were cramping for a couple of days, but now I am back to the grind.

I'm not actually doing the full Nanowrimo, but our kids' homeschooling group is involved in the Youth Writers Program and I signed on as an educator. I can have my own word count, too. So I set mine for 10K, and I'm at 4K right now. The kids are doing great on their writing. :)
