100 word drabble using the prompt: Dumbledore's speech

Harrys first welcoming fest after Dumbledore had died hadn't been welcoming at all. Rather it had made him feel estranged.
The laughter of all the children around him seemed out of place and the Great Hall did not glow in the same way.
He didn't know whether it were the candles, the taste of carton the food left behind or even the stars he could occasionally see through the thick curtain of clouds above his head.
It didn't feel right and although Professor McGonagall tried everything in her might her speech couldn't rival the ones his former director had given.

(I hope it still counts even though the words are not directly mentioned)
