...day one, we are deep in the trenches, and spirits are still good...
Somewhere in the world, Friday is over and Saturday has begun! That means for all of you who have said goodbye to Friday, the first 24 hours are done and it's time to check in! You still have three more days to go, so don't worry if you're off to a slow start. You have plenty of time to kick it into high gear!
The mid-war check-ins are completely optional, but if you want some extra encouragement from your fellow writers, come tell us how you are doing! And while you're there, see how everyone else is doing and maybe leave them some kind words (or butt-kicking where requested!).

Projects Worked On: Added some scenes to my minifest fic, after my beta mailed her comments and suggestions. And wrote some Merlin/Arthur for word war, because Harry and Draco didn't want to cooperate *pouts*
If You Set Other Goals (get characters to hook up, find a way to work in some smut/angst/fluff, reach a certain plot point, whatever), Are You Progressing? Yes. I think I've pinpointed the problem I have with writing smut. Now I just need the time to fix it. Hopefully tomorrow!
Anything To Share (flailing, requests for butt-kicking, pep-talks, snippets, etc.)? Yay! for talking to nice people in chatzy. And *flail* I got my first fic back from my beta, and she didn't think it was awful. She says she loves my descriptions. *beams at beta* *Pets fic*
