...day one, we are deep in the trenches, and spirits are still good...
Somewhere in the world, Friday is over and Saturday has begun! That means for all of you who have said goodbye to Friday, the first 24 hours are done and it's time to check in! You still have three more days to go, so don't worry if you're off to a slow start. You have plenty of time to kick it into high gear!
The mid-war check-ins are completely optional, but if you want some extra encouragement from your fellow writers, come tell us how you are doing! And while you're there, see how everyone else is doing and maybe leave them some kind words (or butt-kicking where requested!).

Projects Worked On: Added some scenes to my minifest fic, after my beta mailed her comments and suggestions. And wrote some Merlin/Arthur for word war, because Harry and Draco didn't want to cooperate *pouts*

But I wrote two out of five kink bingo fics today which is awesome! And now I need to sit down and plot the rest of the hols fic. Ouch.

I'm going in a slightly different direction than I usually take, so this is turning out quite sweet and flirty rather than raw and dirty.

He had to drop to his knees and scrabble about among the roots of the buddleia to find his keys, and he could feel the blonde's eyes burning through him all the while. He didn't doubt she was smirking at him again, nor for that matter could he blame her - he probably looked a right tit, arse up in the air with his face among the prickly branches and his hands mucking about in dead leaves and damp earth.
