Here’s your official team post. Make of it what you will. Intros, discussion, word wars, questions, whatever. This is your team’s Common Room for the month; the only thing we’ll be looking at is the check-in comments, so make sure you’re posting yours as a reply to this.

The only real team assignment you'll be getting is to pick a team name and/or mascot. Like the one you have? Awesome. Want something else? Also awesome. Just let us know what you've all come up with by April 1 so we can get it right on the kick-off post.

There’s been a slight revision on the points for revising, go figure, so please claim them as per the crib sheet below.

As to our team name ... well, I'm terrified of spiders. I flee before even the smallest of the beasts like a wimpy little girl. BUT. Spiders have webs, see. Lots of threads to keep track of. And I figure that plotty/long fics are kind of like webs. So I am willing to grit my teeth and bear it! /silly philosophising

Besides the Snarry BB, I have gift!fic to write (9 of them, at last count), Daily Deviant for April, finishing Beholder and Beltane and maybe (if I have time) writing Porn in the Sun as well. I might have taken on a bit too much...

Hey, I checked us out on the Double Points challenge yesterday and we got some serious sh*t done! So I wanted to shake some pom-poms for Team A! *\o/*

Today I have enjoyed another large block of lucidity (courtesy of some truly hideous back pain but I am running low on my meds and need to make them last till my next appt) and got another 2.5k written! Woo hoo for team motivation! It definitely works for me, I hate to let people down. How's everyone else doing?

So... we're all big bangers. Anyone want to share the plot they're working on? Need help brainstorming? Which Big Bang?

I'll start - I'm working on the Snarry Big Bang, and my story is about healing Hogwarts after the battle. Sev and Harry are the only ones able to hear her, so they're the only ones able to help. I'm still in the planning stage, but hoping to get a better idea of plot on paper next week.

So, I was just looking over our week one check in numbers and we're just awesome y'all :)

I ended up writing lots of new little snippets all week, ideas that could definitely have been put on the back burner. I've got three half-finished pwp's that popped into my mind out of nowhere. Hopefully I'll get those finished today or at least by Sunday. Then I must commit to the beginning storyline of my Snarry BB!!

How is it going for all of you? Any problems, road blocks, silent muses? Have any light bulb moments or work your way through a tough place?

Way to go Spiders! We kicked some azz last week :D

I wanted to leave a little note here just so all my team mates know, I am recovering from recent spinal surgery. Some of my lovely friends here are already aware of this but since my ability (or non-ability) to GSD affects us all, I thought you should know. My major problem isn't actually the pain, it's all the pain drugs they have me on. Last week's work was all done over 3 days (and one of those days was just for an hour). I have difficulty staying awake long enough to get my writing done. Luckily, when I am lucid, I can usually write like the wind but those hours of consciousness are far fewer than the time I spend actually sleeping or just so zonked out of my mind that I am basically (and sometimes literally) asleep sitting up at the keyboard!

Trying to keep up though, I have a TON of work to get through in the coming days and feeling like I can't let my team down is a massive motivator for me. BOB has already been a blessing from the cosmos!
